BAND SENIOR NIGHT and SPONSOR NIGHT
5:30 - Call Time at band room eat healthy before, bring filled water bottle, change into costume 6:00 - warm up in band room 6:45 - move to stadium 7:15 - perform pre-game 7:30 - kick off Perform at half time after band senior recognition
Friday, Oct 20 (No School)
9 am – 5 pm Marching Band Mini Camp
Students should bring their lunch. Some snacks and fruits will be available.
Saturday, Oct 21
SCBDA AAAA Upper State Championships - Boiling Springs High School
9:00 AM – Call time at WHHS for rehearsal 9:15 AM – Rehearsal 12:00 PM – Load Truck 12:30 PM – Hearty chili lunch 1:30 PM – Dismiss for Shower/Show Prep 4:00 PM – Arrive at WHHS in show shirt and jeans 4:15 PM – Leave for Boiling Springs HS 5:00 PM – Arrive at Boiling Springs HS – Unload/Bathroom Break 5:30 PM – Light dinner 6:30 PM – Change into costumes 7:00 PM – Stretch and visual warm-up 7:40 PM – Walk to music warm-up 7:50 PM – Music warm-up 8:50 PM – Staging 9:00 PM – Perform 9:30 PM – Meet, Pack Instruments (Don’t load truck), Quick Snack 10:00 PM – Awards Ceremony/Pictures (still in costume) 10:30 PM – Load Truck 11:00 PM – Depart Boiling Springs HS 11:45 PM – Arrive at WHHS / Unload / Change out of costume 12:15 AM - Dismiss

FRUIT SALE ENDS - turn in all orders Monday, October 16
All band members have been asked to participate in our annual Fruit Sale, an important fundraiser for ensuring future success for the band.
If you have sold any boxes of fruit, please turn in orders TOMORROW!
If you have not sold fruit, you may pay the average profit amount, which would be $100.
There are still some very important volunteer needs:
Concessions, for both this Thursday's (varsity) game and next Thursday's (JV) games
Football game chaperones and prop helpers for this Thursday's game
Willing to help but no time?
We also need food donations for the meals we feed everyone at the contests. Boosters usually cover the main food, but we need parents to help with the rest. See the list on the signups page - many items added for the two meals this Saturday!

REMINDER: Each student is asked to contribute an individual contribution in the amount of $300.
This is part of the cost of participating in band and needed to cover expenses. We gave you the option of bringing in sponsors or splitting the payments over the months of August and September with the final payment requested by October 1.
PLEASE FINISH ALL PAYMENTS THIS WEEK SO WE WILL HAVE THE MONEY NEEDED FOR COMPETITION EXPENSES!
If you have unpaid band expenses, please get payments to the Boosters asap or talk to Mr. Pace if you need assistance.
