All percussionists in the band program are expected to participate in the  Percussion Ensemble. Students will learn basic fundamentals on all the percussion instruments and will explore many styles and genres. In addition to the class, additional after-school rehearsals will be scheduled as needed. The percussion ensemble will also perform in selected concerts as well as local festivals and competitions. Students will be asked to purchase sticks and mallets as part of this ensemble.
