7:45 AM – Call time at WHHS for rehearsal
8:00 AM – Rehearsal
10:30 AM – Load Truck
11:15 AM – Dismiss for lunch/shower
12:45 PM – Call time at school – change into show clothes
1:15 PM – Leave for James F. Byrnes HS
2:00 PM – Arrive at James F. Byrnes HS – Unload
3:00 PM – Stretch and visual Warm-up
4:00 PM – Walk to music warm-up
4:15 PM – Music warm-up
5:05 PM – Staging
5:15 PM – Perform
5:45 PM – Load truck then change into jeans/shorts and show shirts (Dinner after truck is loaded)
6:45 PM – In stands watching bands
9:45 PM – Awards Ceremony (Leadership team will need to change back into costume before the awards)
10:15 PM – Depart James F. Byrnes HS
11:00 PM – Arrive at WHHS and unload
11:30 PM – Dismiss

LAST CALL for Show Shirts & Spirit Wear!
If you would like to order your own show shirt, or any other WHHS Bands spirit wear, to wear to cheer on the band at competitions over the next month, please ORDER BY NOON ON MONDAY!
Items usually come about a week from when the group order is sent.

We're up to 56% of slots filled, with % of parents participating. Better, but we still need your help with some really important items:
Concessions, both Friday and Thursday night games, is a major fundraiser for us and we need more parents to help.
Contests require a large number of parents to make it all come together. Last week we had 24 parents filling 33 volunteer slots. We need at least that each week! Please sign up for one today.
Willing to help but no time? We also need food donations for the meals we feed everyone at the contests. Boosters usually cover the main food, but we need parents to help with the rest. See the list on the signups list.

FRUIT SALE - EXTENDED through October 16
All band members are asked to participate in our annual Fruit Sale. We've asked students to start turning in orders and money each week by practice Thursday to be eligible for the weekly "Fruity Friday" drawings.
Fruit will be delivered to the school in early December
Goal is 7 boxes per student

Check/cash orders should be placed in the envelope and checks made to WHHS Band Boosters.
Donations (instead of fruit) are always accepted!
Note: Florida Indian River Groves has let us know that their damage from Irma was minimal and they don't expect any issues in delivering the fruit that is ordered as scheduled.
REMINDER: Each student is asked to contribute an individual contribution in the amount of $300.
This is part of the cost of participating in band and needed to cover expenses. We gave you the option of bringing in sponsors or splitting the payments over the months of August and September with the final payment requested by October 1.

Being part of the band includes requirements for both students and parents. At this point in the season, we should have all payments made and forms completed. As of now:
4 students have unpaid band fees ($150 paid to the school)
8 students have not paid for other items already received
4 parents and students haven't completed the band formonline, which means we have no health information and no emergency contact information
PLEASE get these items completed so we can focus on making great band.
