BAND NOTES - October 7, 2018
Schedule changes this week
There have been several confusing schedule changes this week, but please know these changes have been beyond our control. Changes in football game schedules send us to different locations at different times. THANK YOU for your understanding.
Monday - 4 to 7 pm rehearsal
Tuesday - 4 to 5 pm homework or tutoring time, 5 to 8 pm rehearsal
Thursday - 6 to 9 pm rehearsal
BLYTHEWOOD TOURNAMENT OF BANDS SCHEDULE
9:00 am - Rehearsal begins (please don't wear your red sleeveless shirt or your show shirt for sweaty rehearsal)
11:30 am - Load truck
12:00 pm - Dismiss for lunch, shower, etc.
2:00 pm - Call time at WHHS and change into uniforms
2:30 pm - Depart for Blythewood High School
4:30 pm - Arrive at Blythewood and unload
5:00 pm - Eat and bathroom break
5:45 pm - Visual warm-up
6:35 pm - Walk to music warm-up
6:40 pm - Music warm-up
7:20 pm - Walk to gate
7:25 pm - Gate time
7:30 pm - Perform
8:00 pm - Load truck and change into show shirts
8:30 pm - In stands watching bands
9:00 pm - Awards ceremony
9:30 pm - Depart Blythewood High School
11:30 pm - Arrive at WHHS and unload
approx. 12 AM - Dismiss (Pick Up Time)
If you are coming to cheer on our awesome band, make sure you arrive by 7 pm to allow for parking, walking, and finding a seat. You aren't allowed to enter a stadium's seating area when a band is performing, so you'll need to arrive well before performance time.
Remember, dismissal time is approximate. Students are not allowed to leave until Mr. Pace dismisses them, which is after everything is unloaded and put away and their meeting is finished.
Make sure you are on track to pay your Band Fees!
Being a band this awesome isn't cheap. Unfortunately, there are many who have fallen behind in band fee payments. Even if you can only pay a little bit each week, we need you to keep up with your payments as our costs continue through the season and beyond. Please log in to your account and review what you owe.

BAKE SALE THIS FRIDAY
Our monthly bake sale at WHHS is Friday, October 12, during all lunches. Students, stop by to purchase some sweet treats - and encourage your friends to buy too! All proceeds go directly to your band!
