BAND NOTES - August 28, 2018
GAME THIS FRIDAY - Call time is 5:30 pm This will be our first time marching for an audience! (Pick up and drop off are normal - start and end at Band Room as always.)
Parents and families, come out to the game to cheer on the band as they perform at half-time IN UNIFORM for the first time.
Make sure your student has compression shorts to wear under their uniform!
The uniforms are very fitted, so everyone needs to be tucked in and smooth. The first roll out for uniforms is planned for August 31st.
Pick-up / drop-off and the gate
We apologize for the recent issues with the gate being locked at pick up time. Today, for example, the gate was unlocked but was mistakenly relocked by a member of the school staff. Mr. Pace is addressing the issue with the school and we hope to have a better system in place before Thursday's rehearsal. Thank you for your patience.

If you are working on sponsorships to reduce your band fees dollar-for-dollar, those need to be submitted this week to get their full benefit.Sponsors added after that time would not be guaranteed the benefits promised to them.

Donations for Football Concessions
WHHS Band Boosters operates the visitor side concession stand as our largest fundraiser. If you shop at Costco or Sam's Club and would be willing to donate an item or two, that's less we have to buy from Booster funds to operate, and more money goes toward band activities.
