Band activities coming up - your help is needed
Hello all my Band Friends!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Spring semester. I cannot believe how close we are to the end of the school year! I wanted to let everyone know that we will be having a Band weekend coming up where we will need everyone’s help. We have several fundraising opportunities to help put the band in the best position possible to help pay for props and other items as needed for the Fall program. The show will be AMAZING!!
May 3 Pizza Inn Night 5:30-9:30
There will be 2 shifts for the students to sign up to help. (Need to be 16yr old to serve tables, but others can help greet at the door)

May 4 Percussion Group event
The Percussion group will be working at a Spinx event that will raise $1000. Hooray!! We aren’t sure if any additional help will be needed yet, so we will keep you posted.
May 5 Spring Cleaning 9am-1pm

Yard Sale – We need donations from everyone for this – be saving up and bring it to us that morning. If you have any large items that need to be brought early, let us know so we can come up with a plan.
Bake Sale – Help by bringing treats to sell to those waiting to have their car washed.
Car wash – Help by bringing buckets, sponges, etc. The students will need to sign up to help for this part. * We will be having 2 locations this time to hopefully double the car wash income!
May 7 The End of Year Band Banquet - The thank you and recognition night for a great year of hard work and accomplishments.
We will need everyone to please RSVP online to let us know if you are coming in order to know how much food to order. We will be having BBQ from Smokehouse 29. Yum!!
There will be an option online to also prepay. Not required, but it is available for those that would rather not worry about it that night. Cost is $10 for adults and $6 for all students and kids.
This weekend of activities is quickly approaching, so please put it on your calendar! I wanted to make sure everyone knows about the dates for planning purposes. We can’t do it without you, and truly appreciate everyone!
