Here are some reminders and information about band activities from the Band Boosters and A.J. Pace, Director of Bands.

Monday, Nov 27 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Band Bowling Night Wade Hampton Bowl

Friday, Dec 1 11:55 am – 2:05 pm Bake Sale during all lunches Wade Hampton High School Cafeteria If you signed up to bring baked goods, please take them to the office in the morning labeled for Band Bake Sale.

Friday, Dec 1 TBD - evening Fruit Delivery Wade Hampton High School, back of school

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Tuesday, Dec 5 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Parent Meeting Wade Hampton High School, Chorus Room

Sunday, Dec 10 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Half Mile Lake Christmas Parade 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm After-Parade Party Pick up will be at band room at 10 pm Details to come next week.

Tuesday, Dec 12 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm Wendy's fundraising night Wade Hampton location

Wednesday, Dec 13 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm Dress Rehearsal for Concert Wade Hampton High School

Thursday, Dec 14 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Winter Band Concert Auditorium, Wade Hampton High School Joined by Sevier Middle bands and percussion group.

BAND BOWLING Not too late to sign up!

Don't miss the opportunity to get together with your band friends. Cost is $5 per person. Food available for purchase at the snack bar, so bring extra if you want to eat.

FRUIT DELIVERY DAY Volunteers needed!

Florida Indian River has let us know that our fruit delivery is scheduled for December 1, with the tentative timing in the evening (after other area deliveries are made). We need both student and parent volunteers to help unload and sort the fruit.

ALL STUDENTS WHO SOLD FRUIT MUST COME ON FRIDAY TO PICK UP THE FRUIT THAT YOU SOLD. Remember, it is the seller's responsibility to deliver the fruit to their buyers.

BAKERS NEEDED

Baked goods are needed for the following upcoming sales. Please make some extra Christmas Cookies or any goodies and let us know if you can help.

  • School Bake Sale - December 1, Christmas Theme

  • Sales at Orchestra and Band concerts, December 12 and 14.

CHRISTMAS PARADE New location for this year

We will be participating in the Half-Mile Lake Christmas Parade this year, followed by a get-together for the students, so the schedule and volunteer needs will be different this year. We are still working on details, which will be sent next week. Thank you for your patience.

If you have unpaid band expenses, please get payments to the Boosters asap or talk to Mr. Pace if you need assistance.
