8:15 AM – Call time at WHHS for rehearsal

11:00 AM – Dismiss for Lunch/Shower/Show Prep
12:30 PM – Call Time at WHHS / Change into show clothes
1:00 PM – Leave for Blythewood HS
3:00 PM – Arrive at Blythewood HS – Unload/Bathroom Break
4:00 PM – Stretch and visual warm-up
4:45 PM – Walk to music warm-up
5:00 PM – Music warm-up
6:05 PM – Staging
6:15 PM – Perform
6:45 PM – Load truck then change into jeans/shorts and show shirts
7:15 PM – In stands to watch bands (food at concession stand)
8:45 PM – Awards Ceremony (Leadership team will stay in costume after we perform)
9:15 PM – Depart Blythewood HS
11:15 PM – Arrive at WHHS and unload
11:45 PM – Dismiss

STILL LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT VOLUNTEER SPOT?
More parents are volunteering, which is awesome, but we still need your help with some really important needs:
Concessions, both Friday and Thursday night games, is a major fundraiser for us and we need more parents to help. Only 50% of these are filled for the next 3 games.
Football games also require chaperones and prop helpers, and only 50% of those are filled for the last 2 games. October 19 is senior night, and many usual volunteers will be less available, so please sign up to help if you can.
Willing to help but no time? We also need
food donations for the meals we feed everyone at the contests. Boosters usually cover the main food, but we need parents to help with the rest. See the list on the signups list.

FRUIT SALE - ONE WEEK LEFT - ends October 16
All band members are asked to participate in our annual Fruit Sale, an important fundraiser for ensuring future success for the band. We are far behind our totals and our participation from last year - please help!
Fruit will be delivered to the school in early December
Goal is 7 boxes per student

Check/cash orders should be placed in the envelope and checks made to WHHS Band Boosters.
Donations (instead of fruit) are always accepted!
Note: Florida Indian River Groves has let us know that their damage from Irma was minimal and they don't expect any issues in delivering the fruit that is ordered as scheduled.
REMINDER: Each student is asked to contribute an individual contribution in the amount of $300.
This is part of the cost of participating in band and needed to cover expenses. We gave you the option of bringing in sponsors or splitting the payments over the months of August and September with the final payment requested by October 1.

SO WE WILL HAVE THE MONEY NEEDED FOR COMPETITION EXPENSES!
If you have other unpaid band expenses, please get payments to the Boosters asap or talk to Mr. Pace if you need assistance.
