BOOSTER BOARD NOMINATIONS As the end of the year approaches, it is time to put our next year's Board of Directors in place to continue the work that makes the band go! In preparing for the nominations, we took a look at the actual needs of the organization and modified the traditional officer roles to more accurately match our reality. We also wanted to acknowledge some very important additional roles that aren't elected positions, but are very much needed for smooth operation of the band. Review them here: Review the updated board positions and additional parent coordinator roles. Please take a close look and think about anyone you would like to nominate, including yourself, for these roles. We'll give everyone an opportunity to introduce and tell everyone a little about themselves at the next meeting prior to voting. The current board, having no graduating students, have agreed to continue on in their current roles, should they be elected, but that doesn't mean we aren't all open to additional nominations. Please send names of those you'd like to nominate to whhsbands@gmail.com by April 28. Elections will be held at our next scheduled Parent Meeting, which has been scheduled for May 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the band room. Please make every effort to attend this meeting.

WISH LIST

As our band continues to grow, moving our band around will take more too! We are wishing for a semi-trailer to make our own - ideally a former moving company one (since they are lower to the ground) but anything is worth a conversation!
