Meeting began at 6:00 pm

Carleen welcomed the parents to the Band Booster Meeting. Marching season is over but try to get involved in other opportunities during winter.

BOA:

• Leaving from WHHS now and not Greenville High School @ 2pm on November 11th.

Greenville Christmas Parade:

• December 3rd at 3pm

• Meet at WHHS, Time is TBD

• Wear sweatshirt – change since meeting – needs to be red.

• Change since meeting – We will be marching with Greenville High

Winter Guard:

• Auditions are November 14th, 15th and 17th

• Need to find a space large enough to practice.

• Practices will be November through March Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 4-7 pm

Pep Band:

• Starts November 14th

• Hopefully they will be wearing Basketball Tops

• No money is required to participate

Region Tryouts are January 7th and All-County Tryouts are January 10th

NGU Indoor Drum Line tryouts are November 18th, 19th and December 2nd from 5-9 pm. You must register and pay $25 to tryout.

The Boosters are working on a get-together for the kids in either November or December to keep them active and social with each other in the off season. Stay tuned for more details.

Fundraisers:

• Fruit

• Money is due November 7th

• Wendy’s

• Profit Night will be Tuesday, November 15th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm

• Have to mention you are with the band

• Advertise on school announcements and website.

• We made $100 last month.

Concerts:

• Winter Concert

• Practice is December 8th from 4-6pm

• Concert is December 9th @ 7:30 pm

• Mid-March Concert Band Event will be the top performers

• Carowinds in May will be everyone. Mr. Pace is still working out the details.
