Here are some reminders and information about this week's activities from the Band Boosters and A.J. Pace, Director of Bands.

  • call time is 5:30 at the band room

BAND BOOSTERS MEETING - Tuesday, September 6th

All parents or guardians of a student in the WHHS Band are members of the WHHS Band Boosters. All booster members/parents should make every effort to attend the booster meetings, held generally on the first Tuesday of each month at6:30 p.m. at the band room (or nearby). Park in the front of the school and someone will be at the door to let you in.

NEW BAND PICK UP PROCEDURE Remember, for all practice, games and competitions, all band pick up will be through the fire lane at the side of the school. Enter the main entrance to the school and follow the lane to the right of the building - see map here. This plan was prescribed by the school administration, so we appreciate your continued patience with this new plan.


Thank you to all of you who have already volunteered to help with various roles. Our busy months have begun and we simply can't do it all without parents to help. If everyone volunteers a little time, no one will have to do it all. We still need volunteers to sign up for shifts for all areas. Here's how: 1) Click the link to see our SignUp on SignUp.com:

If you haven't yet completed your parent volunteer form, we really need that soon so we know where you can help. Remember, we can't do it without you!

FUNDRAISING UPDATE Thank you for your help getting your student's fundraising commitment completed. We now have 31 out of 61 students who have turned in at least $50 in donations raised. These students will be eligible to go on the BOA trip later in the Fall. BAND FRUIT SALE
