Home game this Friday
NEW BAND PICK UP PROCEDURE
Remember, for all practice, games and competitions, all band pick up will be through the fire lane at the side of the school. Enter the main entrance to the school and follow the lane to the right of the building - see map here.
Thank you for your continued patience with this new plan.
GET YOUR BAND GEAR ORDER THIS WEEK!
Shirts, sweatshirts, polos, hats and more - students are encouraged to promote the band with casual wear, and family and friends will want Band Gear to show their pride while cheering them on at competitions.
The order being sent next week should get the gear in hand by the first competition.
BAND BOOSTERS MEETING - Tuesday, September 6th
All parents or guardians of a student in the WHHS Band are members of the WHHS Band Boosters. As a booster member/parent, the expectation is that you will attend the booster meetings held generally on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the band room.
TUESDAY SNEAK PEEKS CANCELLED
Unfortunately, the opportunity to use the alternate field on Tuesdays was denied. We look forward to seeing the band perform soon.
Thank you to all of you who have completed the volunteer interest form.
We still need volunteers to sign up for shifts for concessions and other volunteer needs at football games - starting this Friday, September 2.

FUNDRAISING UPDATE - WRAP UP INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISING
We now have 12 out of 60 students who have turned in at least $50 in donations raised. We've asked that this be completed by September 1 for ALL students, so please ask friends, family and local businesses and get those donations in!
Remember, only students who meet this requirement will be eligible to go on the BOA trip later in the Fall.

Band Fruit Sale is here! Students will be bringing home an order form and envelope this week, but online orders are welcomed too.
